What is Astroluxx?

On April 23, 2009, astronomers detected the largest gamma-ray burst ever recorded. Gamma-ray bursts are the most luminous explosions in the Universe. On that same day, Astroluxx was born!

Astroluxx is the first social news networking site created especially for astrologers and astro-philes. At the Astroluxx Cosmic Astrology Café, people discover and share astrology-related content from anywhere on the Internet. But rather than an editor deciding what gets published, our readers collectively choose which content they find most illuminating.

How does it work? All of the links served up at Astroluxx – from articles to videos to pictures – are submitted by you, the members of our community. After creating a free user account, readers can vote for the best and the brightest by clicking the Luxx It button, which awards star points known as Lumens. When a submission receives enough Lumens, it’s spotlighted on the main page.

But more than just being the place to catch up on the latest astrology buzz, Astroluxx is a wonderful way to connect and commune with other astrologers.
